lol thats interesting i am moving out before christmas thats so damn gay. it will be so hard to find a new job becuase of the beggining of the damn year. I guess its krisp kream for me >_<.//

Anyway, i need to move out. I rather move back to sacramento, california. I don't want to live in tucson or phx. There are no job oppertunities. Everyone is a stiff and requires to much for the pay down there. I guess my question is what should i do? i just need advice.

I know its a bad idea to get a roomate but thats the only way to afford a place anywhere now of days.

Roomates aren't that bad. I actually enjoy having roomates here in college cause there's always someone to hang out with. You might be at a stage in your life where you prefer not to have that though, I don't know. As for jobs, what kind of work are you looking at? I'm from Sacramento originally, but I don't think I'll move back there (not cause its a bad place, I mean we have the Kings and all, because of deadbeat friends who would drag me down).

im going back back to cali cali. I guess next month i'll start looking for work in sacramento. There are lots of descent paying jobs i found out you just have to "look" :P and not be picky.

There is a level worker that gets paid 30-40k using a hand held computer all day lol. Then there is other jobs. No more 8-10 for me

Man, I couldn't imagine wanting to go back to sac town. There are so many nice places around there, why would you actually want to go back to sacrememnto? How is the job market there right now? As soon as I graduate, I want to go back to santa cruz, but I'm not sure I'll be able to find a good job or afford a place to live.

Sacramento is a pretty expensive area, so having a roomate is not a bad idea. Heck, I moved in with my gf, (who eventually became my wife) when my apartment rent went up drastically. Roomates of the opposite sex can be very fun. How old are you? Did you graduate college?

sacramento isn't as expensive as everyone thinks it is. The only difference is the cost of electric. But you can't go any cheaper then $500 in tucson for an apartment.

I am 23 this year and have not gone to college.

Its actually really cheap compared to every major city I know of in California. You can't get a studio apartment down here for under $900/mo

Yeah, in santa cruz, you'd be damn lucky to find a studio for under 1k/mo. Socal is a little cheaper, but not much. I only pay 450/mo for my studio, but it has special circumstances, I'd never be able to find another deal like this one.

Start yesterday! If you're the right person for the job they'll be willing to wait a month. The better the job, the longer the hiring process.

Hmmm. At 23, I figured you'd want to move out of your parent's home as much as they'd like to see you move out. I agree with Daedalis. I think you're doing the right step by getting the resume updated but I would begin the job search immediately (before moving if possible) You never know where the opportunities will take you. It might not be Sacramento. In my case, I ended up moving from NJ to Delaware for my first job out of school. Look at it as an opportunity.

Nah, sacramento is where i belong. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. But i applied for this hopital tech job. Hopefully the pay is good.

Problem with california employers is they wait a month. They expect you to not have a job. I don't know where these people come up with these fantasys lol. But hopfully the hospitol will be more understandable.

Yah, i am looking right now. I think it would be a good idea anyway do to the fact looking for work in jan. would be a horrible idea.

BTW california built another hydrogen station on hydrogen highway
