I am pretty much set on doing an RB25DET swap. But another engine has poped up into my head. I think there are more open minded people in here that won't shoot this swap down as fast as other forums.

I came across a VG30DETT front clip for 2500. I did some searches and found a few post on Zilvia that gave some good info about doing this swap.

As you can see this guy claims it will bolt right in the only two big things you have to do is get a custom hood + driveshaft. The wiring would have to be custom too which is no problem for me.He even claims that the engine has more room in the 240 compaired to the 300. Now out of the 30-40 threads that came up on the "VG30DETT" search, only 3-4 give some info on it. The rest is just a bunch of bickering about how the enigne is too heavy and would need alot of body cutting + welding. So does anyone here know anything about this swap? I know about the VG30ET swaps done by unstable but I would rather do the RB25 swap over that because I want to do a swap from a clip. (Don't see too many 86-89 300 ZX clips) Oh and if anyone has access to a VG30DETT or a Z32 I would love to get some meassurments of the engine and engine bay.
