suspension

i live in colorado so in the winter i want to be able to lift my car so i don't snow plow. the only problem is that i don't knwo what type of suspension to get. coilovers one of my friends says to do but don't know which ones are good. ebay has some but don't know if there going to fu*k up my suspension. or do i get kyb adjustable sturts. but with what springs? i don't know what to do. all i want is to lower the car and raise it. can someone please help.thanks

Sound's like your only real choice is some coilovers...if your looking for something with a good reputation that wont break the bank AS BAD check out Ground Control coilovers...you could raise it back to stock height in the winter and drop it back down for your 4 months of summer :) You might just need an alignment done depending on how much you dropped it back down. Adjustable struts wont really do it for you man :(

do you know where or who sells good coilover kits? and are they hard to install? i know ill probably not be able to install. how much do people usually charge? thanks again.

i found Arospeed Adjustable Coilovers. are they any good? what struts should i get with them?

or just take taht money and buy a beater for the winter, save the 240 from the salt. plus rear wheel drive in the winter is sheeeit.

If you are going to go for an aftermarket suspension, do it right. I highly recommend going with a full sleeve coilover setup. JICS, HKS, TEIN are all great choices, there are several others. They will all cost you around 2G's, but they are well worth it.

well all of us would like to have a top notch suspension, but who has 2g's just laying around
