Anyway, just something I noticed on my 09 G37 Sedan.
I had to turn the car off then start again to clear. Nothing damaged or anything...just weird!
i dont mean to question you so much, but why would you have held it down while starting it to begin with?joe603 wrote:I was just in a hurry leaving somewhere and held it down quicker than I normally do. Didn't do it on purpose...

Just thought I'd share my findings.timmy0257 wrote:i dont mean to question you so much, but why would you have held it down while starting it to begin with?joe603 wrote:I was just in a hurry leaving somewhere and held it down quicker than I normally do. Joe has the Midas Touchzozoka1212 wrote:K I tried it and for me it works like normally do. No funky lights. Nothing. Maybe because it is an X and the ECU is different.
It is easier than you think. The awd module is beside the ECU. You can take one of the wire of install a switch and you have yourself a RWD car when you need it. Mind you when you turn the swicth off you'll have an Xmas light on your dash. But when you turn it back on all is good.Fezzik wrote:Its an x. Could it be an easter egg to turn off awd and be rear wheel. heh
I bet the car thought the switch was not plugged in.joe603 wrote:Well it's not that big of a deal...but if you hold the TCS button to disable it, the car freaks out and has a few warning lights illuminated on the dash. The weird one was the parking brake light!?
