That's because Bose sucks.Jesda wrote:Well, my intermittently functional Bose system wont be collapsing my lungs anytime soon, but thats absolutely fascinating! Where did you find this?
I think it's probably not something that'd happen to anyone - Perhaps some people have a predisposition to it.Nismo_Freak wrote:Then why don't people drop dead from a Top Fuel dragster or funny car making pass after pass? Happened to a typewriter salesman in the old days. Had a portable on his back parcel shelf. He had to stop suddenly, typewriter didn't stop so suddenly and broke his neck.AZhitman wrote:Hope you're never involved in an accident - It'd suck to be killed by a big, cheap home speaker crushing your skull at 40 mph.
I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that the Amp is hooked up to a tuner.Jesda wrote:Wait a minute, you have a home stereo in your Q??
How the heck do you change stations? When you shut down the car dont you lose your presets? And where the heck did you put it? I need to see pictures of this!
I remember the factory radio on my Mazda 929 failing over and over again... I ended up using a battery-powered boombox until I could afford a decent stereo.
Sounds like you must have rattled your brain a little too much.Altiman94 wrote:there are no benefits to a home stereo in a vehicle. There is a reaosn why they are made for the home, and other systems are made for your car. I've had many, many car audio systems, all sizes of woofers, and tons upon tons of amps/headunits powering aftermarket speaker after aftermarket speaking. That is stupid. Get those things out of your car, and put something made for car audio in there.

I call it a car stereo. I really don't fell like spending +$1000 to get the same thing that I get now from my current setup.Altiman94 wrote:That is stupid. Get those things out of your car, and put something made for car audio in there.
