Dome lights loose

I was installing led lights but when I got to the dome lights I realized they are very loose and don’t stay in tight, anyone have any suggestions to keep them in? All Input appreciated!

Are the 'pins' bendable slightly? Can you bend them a half-centimeter closer together? Be careful though, don't break them!
