So when i open the driver's side back seat door, the dome light doesn't come on... how can i fix this?

you have a loose switch likely. pull the boot off and check the screw to see if its tight if it is remove the screw and pull the switch out check the connection on the inside.

Sorry.... I guess I don't know much about cars... what's the boot?

its covering the button at the back door sill it looks like an accordian. the screw holding it in may be off to one side of the accordian boot exposed.
