Dome light stays on '90 Q45

This week I am having an issue where the dome light is staying on when the door is closed and the dashboard is telling me that the door is open.

I suspect the issue is at the driver's door because occasionally, if I manually hit the button on the door jam, I can get the light to go off.

I need to search for a replacement.
What would you call this item? What name/part am I searching for?

Any leads to one would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem. Just put 1/4 thick of rubber the size of a dime on the door where it meets and problem will be solved. Nomoactivesuspension
