Ok after replacing the Drivers side door jamb switch on our 04 Pathfinder, Everything worked beautifully for a few months, now the same issues plague the poor car again, dome light flickers non stop with any kind of throttle input makes it come on and now the door ajar light comes on as well, could the switch have already gone bad? or maybe something else? Could the whole dome light assembly be bad? I don't think those are known to go bad bu i'm all ears here

Four doors and the tailgate can all give you this symptom. All of them have switches for the lights.
Sounds like there's more than one flaky switch.
Maybe have someone go around the car shaking or banging the doors and tailgate while it's idling in the driveway.

Kinda sounds like a tailgate thing, I know that sometimes I have to tighten the metal bar at the base of the tailgate latch because it gets loose and causes this issue because the trunk no longer closed properly..

So its possible that all switches could go bad? and for the one in the tailgate where and how do I get to it? The last time this happened one dealer recommended replacing the whole entire middle dome light assembly could a short in that cause everything to act up? Again i'm open to any suggestions I just want this fixed once and for all
