Dome light flicker and alarm issues

Strange things have seem to happen to our 04 Platinum Edition lately and I'm wondering what would be the best method of fixing it, Originally the dome light would randomly come on under normal acceleration, now it comes on from either a simple bump in the road, accelertating or even braking. on top of this issue, sometimes the driver side door will not lock with the remote and in turn will set off the alarm. Usually if i rapidly push the contact switch inside the door it fixes it but it returns 2-3 days later sometimes with just the dome light issue or like today with both light and alarm on the fritz. A week after we bought it I had a minor accident (my fault, drivers door was open while aligning car with the gas pump and a short barrier in front of the pump caught the door and folded the door into the fender) it was professionally painted and repaired but what sensor/sensors could be broken or need to be fixed?

It really sounds like that door contact switch. The light and alarm issues have that element in common as a possibility, and for the price of a replacement I'd be willing to roll the dice The only thing I'd suggest before replacing it is to pull out the switch and make sure the connector is secure on it.

Here's the replacement part at courtesyparts.com. Look in the 2004 section; it'll be the 23560+A part. It looks like it's the same part for all four doors.
