Dome light console falling down??

The whole console is starting to detach from the headliner!! Is it held up just by glue? I am thinking about just buying some crazy glue and gluing it back up anybody else have to deal with this?

From what I remember when I removed mine to change lights etc, it is not held by glue, but the headliner is a little too small for the piece to fit, so it pops in snug.
Maybe pulling it out and adding something to the trim of the headliner (shove a piece of cardboard in there or something)

I thought it was glue because of the marks that are on the headliner.... What piece are you talkin about?

He's saying that the piece (the entire "consule" as you put it) is just a snug for that snaps up into the headliner. Maybe if you put something around the consul, like several layers of painters tape than you could snug it back up.

Im having a problem getting the whole unit to come out.... I dont wanna break the other side trying lol

There should only be a wire harness holding it in, and then its just form fitted (maybe a little bit of glue) on the side that is still "stuck" in.
Try pulling it tward the area that is already out, and maybe it will give a bit.
