So I changed out all my interior dome lights with white LEDs. Here are the pics!

The next process is to change out the glovebox and luggage light in the back. Hope you all like it!

It's a lot brighter, and cleaner. It's not hard on the eyes like the incandescent bulbs I had earlier. The VIP look you have in the picture above is nice. Someone has that in their Honda Fit and it looks sick!

Then do this for your next project man!!

You can either get those color changing LED, so your Versa will become a Versa Disco or some soft warm white LED like a Rolls Royce

I do have the footwell LEDs in my car already. The ceiling LEDs would be sick as heck but I find that too distracting already. We'll see what happens later on with the V.

Try to add a variable resistor to lower the power, so you only get the look, but not distraction by the LED....

Yea... another reason why Versa hold me back a bit is because of the A pillar....

That reminds me of those ugly accent lights in the 1990's Chevy Starcraft Vans.

What size bulbs are those? I want to do this to my Versa, but am unsure of the size. Also, was that difficult to change? How do you change them? Thanks!

Light part #'s for 07-09 Nissan Versa

License plate2825

Map lightDE3175

Dome lightDE3175

Changing out the bulbs to LEDs was easy. Get a flathead screwdriver, use a rag so it doesn't scratch the plastic from the screwdriver and pop the plastic covers off. To remove the bulbs, pull back on the metal connectors.

This site has the LEDs I bought for my Versa. http://www.v-leds.com/DE3175-3175-LED/c122285-1-2/

I'm looking for the part # for those bulbs and I can't find it anywhere. I may have to look in the service manual.

I just got and put in my new LED map, dome and license plates lights. I'll post pics soon. It needs to get a little darker. The owner's manual doesn't list the bulb # for the trunk light for the HB.

I know this post is pretty old, but has anybody found this online? or does anybody have the product name? I think this would look awesome in my V, but I haven't had any luck finding it at any stores that I've looked at. Thanks in advance guys!

How hard is it to put the LED bulbs on the license plate lights? Are you sure it isn't illegal in some areas?

What bulbs did you use for the license plate? I would love to swap mine out bout the same time I put my underglow on

pooling resources is always fun :werd:
