Picked this up a few weeks back:

And it came with this!

Now it looks like this!

I have a 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS as my daily so this will make for a fun weekend car, auto-x, drift, maybe the odd jaunt down the strip. Not looking to be competitive in auto-x or win any drift comps, just to have some fun with the car, beat on it a bit (a lot).

I've lurked here for years, finally I made an account and starting posting once I got this!

cheers

So far amassed the following parts:
- miata battery
- FMIC
- Turbo elbow/downpipe
- 6 pt harness
- NISMO FPR
- heinously ugly greddy TT
- poly bushing kit
- Yakima q-clips for the rack I have from my Imrpeza
- cleaned and painted a lot of stock parts, more to come

Its a lot of fun. Not the quickest in a straight line, the motor is stock and its N/A. But I rally-x it and auto-x it, it handles well, grips great with good tires (Dunlop Star Specs in summer, Goodyear Winters). Never been stuck in the winter. Got an RSB for it and coilovers going on this spring, along with 17x8 Desmond Regamasters with 235/40/17.

I certainly will enjoy the build, I loved doing my Impreza, but now that I've got it solid for daily, I don't want to mess with it much more. And to get any power the only option really is a WRX or STi engine swap. I needed something to fill my time! (and empty my wallet)

cheers
