DOJ Reopening Hillary Investigation…Offers Her a Plea Deal
'Ample grounds for prosecuting Hillary on a number of counts'

"The Justice Department has reopened the investigation of Hillary Clinton's mishandling of classified material on her private email system while she was secretary of state, and is considering offering her a plea bargain if she will agree to plead guilty to charges of breaking the law, according to a Clinton attorney," Newsmax reports.

Under the Justice Department's plea offer, Hillary would be required to sign a document admitting that she committed a prosecutable crime. In return, the DOJ would agree not to bring charges against Hillary in connection with the email probe.

Also as part of the agreement, the Justice Department would not proceed with an investigation of Hillary's pay to play deals with foreign governments and businessmen who contributed to the Clinton Foundation or who paid Bill Clinton exorbitant speaking fees.

Now, I know you hate the deal and feel Clinton should go to prison. I don’t disagree, but there are good points to making the deal. This would end any and all hope for a Hillary 2020 campaign. And once they have Hillary’s confession, the DOJ would be in a great position to prosecute other Clinton gang members like Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin.

Clinton’s lawyer points out that no actual charges have been filed against the former Democrat Party presidential nominee. That’s true but if she refuses the plea bargain, it goes away and she would have to choose between a plea bargain with some jail time or fight it out in court.

Still, it would be a disappointment not to see Hillary in prison stripes.

It would save us taxpayers many millions in legal costs if she took a plea instead of indicting/trying her , but I don't see her ever doing that. Keep in mind, neither Clinton has ever confessed to any significant wrong doing, so it seems highly unlikely she'd suddenly begin now.

Rogue- Your claims would carry a lot more weight if you weren't relying on really suspect sources with poor factual track records. You're using Newsmax and Conservative firing line, sources who are every bit as bad as DailyKos and the Daily Beast that telco uses all the time.

The right wing biased sources you cite are described by mediabias/factcheck.com as
"
Right Bias
These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy.
"

Fake news flows freely from both sides.

This from snopes.com

"Was Hillary Clinton Offered a Plea Deal in August 2017?
A single source claimed that Hillary Clinton was offered a plea deal after the Justice Department reopened an investigation into her server.

CLAIM
The Justice Department offered Hillary Clinton a plea deal in mid-2017 after reopening an investigation into her handling of classified material on a private server.
UNPROVEN

On 8 August 2017, NewsMax author Ed Klein published an article (“Hillary’s Plea Bargain”) heavily insinuating that Hillary Clinton had been quietly offered a plea bargain due to the Justice Department’s belief that the former candidate was prosecutable on “a number of counts.”

That claim rested on a solitary anonymous source, purportedly a “Clinton lawyer.” That designator was not further qualified or explained, and it seems contradictory that a lawyer purportedly working on Clinton’s behalf would leak such a potentially damaging tidbit about his client to the author of several anti-Clinton books.

...Klein’s suggestion that Hillary Clinton was to be indicted and had already been offered a plea deal quickly travelled through hyperpartisan corners of the Internet, but a number of criticisms of Klein’s relationships with facts and sources have dogged his work from at least 2005, with numerous prominent conservative journalists among his most vocal critics."

Read the story. No way anyone with integrity should be spreading Klein's story as true at this point.

"Clinton's emails were already investigated by Congress, the State Department inspector general and the FBI, and she previously gave written answers in another lawsuit, the appeals court noted last year."

What a waste of taxpayer money.
