I'm going to doing all the rear trailing link bushings (upper and lower) sometime soon, probably with the 4x4 Parts two-piece
bushings. What else would be handy to do while things are apart. Truck has 198,000 miles.

Chuck, that's an open ended question that could leave you under there for a long time.

Pull the rear wheels off to check for leaky seals, then dress, clean lube the rear brakes and check your rear diff for play and locking.

Verify your drive shaft, universals and end play

Undercoat the area when your done, check out springs, rebound may be broken.

Check out the rear canister on the left, clean and rust proof especially above it, verify all connection and check out gas lines to tank. Check all brake lines especially over axle support, test the rubbers in all the suspension back there and clean off the spring in the LSV and lube.

Brake bleed?

Check E brake for opens, rips, lube and dress adjust.

Energetic, flush brake fluids, anti lock device! Check and clean anti lock sensors.

That should keep you out of trouble!

I've been through most of that recently anyway.

Don't need to do all that rustproofing stuff. I live in California and don't ski. ;-)
