Just daily driving with occasional racing...it's not going to be a drift or track car

Well my hicas does not work and it's not that much of a deal to me if it does or not...I just wanted to know if having hicas while swapping the motor would be a problem...if I do swap the motor there will be no hicas on the car anyway right?

HA, I didn't even realize I put 2 e's in that, good catch, but it was a honest mistake, not me being to lazy to use the correct spelling of a word so it has the correct meaning/context in a sentence.

You included the VH45.A VH45 swap needs more work, and is not the same cost as a SR swap.

SR Swaps are easy and drop right in.

Not Really I Heard The Only Problems With The Vq Swaps Is That You Have To Weld Your Own Pipes And Have To Some Wiring On It

This Guy Did A Vq Swap on His 240 http://www.nicoclub.com/articles/240-swap.shtml

i actually like my hicas car, can't see doing an sr swap or anyother really because i like it. i know it would be a pain in the a** to source a hicas pump for the sr or any other swap for that matter, so therefore if i go turbo i will just take my old ka24de and do a build there.

The real irony is he was being retarded by missing an E.You were being retarded by adding an E.

E is the common enemy here, put all differences aside, join forces and kill the E.

haha.

i hate to say this, but it certainly seems like you are SR20'in just to hop on the bandwagon.

The RB20 is cheaper right off the bat, and sounds much better and since this is nothing but a daily driver there is no reason to state one has more after market support than the other....both engines are gonna stay in stock form.

The CA18 is also cheaper....i promised id stop trying to convince people to do the CA swap, but this is the last time, i promise for real this time. The CA swap is IMO easier and faster to get done than the SR, in stock form they give about the same performance, the CA18 looks much cooler so when it comes time to show off....which im about 90% sure you will, you can get a couple Ohhs and Ahhs from the CAs awesome stance

The VH45 is an amazing swap and when i pick up an S14 thats exactly what im doing. But i wont try convince you to do that swap cuz ive never experienced doing one first hand.....Yet, but soon ill be able to talk about it too.

_____Im no Psychic Dominator but to me it sounds like you want to do the swap simply for bandwagon-ism esp since your car is Shicas equipped, just be happy with a KADE, if you really want a turbo then KA-T is the answer, leave the SR20 alone.

RB25 also a cheaper motor. More power potential, even with stock internals. Also to mention has the same cool look as the CA18

Lets stop debating engine.

If you want to jeep the hicas, get the SR20 hicas pumps needed.

HAha NO!!I got sent a gay HICAS p/s pump with my SR swap so you or OP should totally do it and trade me for my HICAS p/s pump

From me. I'll trade =) That way i don't have to buy a non-HICAS and one of you don't have to buy a HICAS. Eh? Eh? Lol lmk here is my useless(to me) HICAS pump:

IIRC you can swap your ka p/s pump onto the sr bracket, but I'm not sure if hicas and non-hicas p/s brakets are the same. I do have a spair s14 sr p/s pump and bracket, email if your intrested.

What about the apostrophe, he was missing the apostrophe to. I know, I'll edit my post and add an apostrophe somewhere in it so we completly cancel each other out.
