Ok well my friend called me today and he said he had something for my 240, so I went next door and he had an injen intake that he gave to me, what happend was we figured out the intake is for a DOHC engine, my motor is a SOHC, has anyone put a DOHC intake into their SOHC car? I really need to know, he gave it to me for free and these things go for $200 and I'd like to see if I can use it, unless you're around the chicago area and have a SOHC intake they would want to trade for my DOHC intake

We did seemed a bit short connecting it to the throttle body, that's how I found out it was for a DOHC, I've been told I can use it "with some modification" what would I need to modify? that's why I posted the question, maybe someone has actually done it that have some tips.

It won't fit, I had the same thing happen to me back in April. You could probably use the cone but it really won't make much of a difference adding the pipe.

Ah, damn! I always wanted an injen intake but too cheap to buy it, my friend said maybe we can cut a piece of intercooler piping and all we need is a longer hose for the valve cover, put the intercooler pipe piece at the throttle body then the intake tube, but we'll see, rccc that two tone 240 in your sig is freakin sexy

Did you try to use a throttle body spacer to try and fit it in there?
