DOHC ignition timing troubles...please help

ive been trying to set my timing right for days...the engine turns over good and has spark but it wont fire...so its obviously my timing...i must have tried and tried a hundred times and the best i could get was some popping but it didnt start

any tips / tricks on how to set the distributor perfect with the crank pulley marks?

thanks but i found that a long time ago...thats what i used to set me timing and i got nothing....the engine didnt fire...

Im sorry to thread jackbut I took out the guides today cuse they were clicking. I F**ked up taking out the distributor....

now, the car will crank but it runs like ****i hear it misfiring ( or something like that)

what do I do? I need this car running ASAP for work.

btw, i have a 92 KADE
