DOHC Cluster Problems NEED HELP!

i had a sohc motor in my 89 s13 then swapped it with a redtop sr20....i changed the sohc cluster to a JDM dohc cluster...i changed the little cluster harness to a Dohc harness... and i spliced the wires to my ECU and my speedo, gas gauge, temp and tach still dont work what could be the problem please help

Did you change out a digital cluster for an analog cluster, or the other way around? If not, you don't have to change the cluster sub harness. Try putting your old cluster in and see if the speedo, temp, and fuel guages work. If they don't, then you've made a wiring error.

i went from analog to analog i just changed the Sohc harness to dohc and still nothing works ..is there a speed sensor somewhere that needs to be plugged in?

The speed sensor is in the transmission right at the end where it hits the driveshaft

when i switched mine i didnt change anything and it works fine

did you go from sohc to dohc??? and the speed sensor is IN the transmission?
