ok, i think there is enough thread left. and i assume the wire going from C to D should still remain, correct?Sentientbydesign wrote:Ok,
Here's a better solution.
Connect the Point C to point E IF the bolt at point C has enough thread to accomodate another terminal.
The setup you have now will still work, but kind of goes against the purpose of having the grounding kit in the first place.

now that's exceptional customer service!
thanks for your your guys' help marlin and sentient.
Should have been shipped today. I'll have to check with the wifey to see if she got to it.LongBeachCoupe wrote:LOL yeah... when i was reading the OP i was thinking... well why not just get another bolt!
I cant wait till mine arrives!
that's because the bolt at point D is part of the metal plate. it's pretty much a stock bolt that's prefabbed into the metal plate. hence i wouldn't even know where to start on how to replace that without having to get a whole new plate. the nut is good, the bolt is half stripped.LongBeachCoupe wrote:LOL yeah... when i was reading the OP i was thinking... well why not just get another bolt!

nothing like fluid mechanics involving beer to relate... heh :highfive:LongBeachCoupe wrote:Im not the educated one, sentinent is... but from what i understand, think of a beer funnel with 4 hoses rather than 1... the wider the hose the more it flows! if i may, be careful when tightening points F and D... the aluminum is majorly brittle at those points (obviously, hence the reason i stripped them and this thread was even made...) unless the coupe's, as well as the 2.5s, instructions are different... but either way, good luck with that. i think it's a great kit that works.LongBeachCoupe wrote:I got an email from your wifey lol...
