Ok... I took the fuel rail off my DET (as I have a new one with 720cc GReddy Injectors in it) and mounted it to my CA18ET motor in my '84 200SX along with the stock 370cc injectors. All was going great until I was getting my 200sx running right today after getting it back together finally and noticed the fuel rail leaking at the top where the injector pressure fits to the rail. =( The CA18ET manifold has no mount points for the DET rail, so I just had it chillin in there (yeah dumb I know). Anyway, its fine when cold, but once it heated up, the orings started leaking... =( I had to have the car towed home after I went to get gas (it was fine for hte drive up there, but then I smelled fuel from the drive across the street from PepBoys to the gas station to fill up). Thoughts? The DET manifold won't bolt to the ET head right? =( As its got two passages, not just 1 for each cylinder due to the butterfly setup right? argh... I'm guessing I'm going to have to fab a bracket of some kind to mount the rail to the manifold. Only injector #4 was leaking... #1, 2, & 3 were perfectly fine, but #4 was pissing fuel all over the manifold in the back. =( Argh...
