Yep, shaft play like there's no tomorrow!

There's a little "SAND" in the hot pipe (crappy high flow air filter...). The cold pipe is nice and clean though, a little oil, but clean..

oh: oh oh

I'm dreaming, SSAC manifold and X turbo?? If memory serves, the SSAC items do not support the T-2X series of turbo, only the T-3 and t-o4 series..

Hmmmmm

Also, if I were to "upgrade" the turbo, should I get it running IN THE CLIP or do the motor swap and then install the upgrade?????

your memeory is wacked, the ssac manifolds support t28 turboes, they also do have a top mount t3/t4 manifold.

I was only thinking of the top mount manifold, forgot about the bottom mount.

its a turbo swap so not much can go wrong if u get it running in the clip or in ur car just find a sweet turbo and manifold stick it on out of the car and ur good to go!

don't swap it in the clip... thats quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Thats like kicking yourself in the nuts, repeatedly. It'll take you an hour tops to do it out of the clip, and all day in the clip.

my thoughts exactlly, ur car will run no matter what its just a turbo swap no electrical involved so just do it while its out and if lines nee to be made or bent u dont need to fu*k around while its in the car!
