Doesn't go into 4th gear? (Auto)

What's wrong with my transmission?.. is it gone?!?!.. it won't go into 4th gear... so at like.. 50mph.. i'm going 3 rpm... someone help?

How many miles do you have on it? What does the transmission fluid look like?

hmm.. no converters or anything like that.. i believe the transmission and engine were never replaced.. so it should be same as engine = 170k~!.. =D.. heh.. and uhmm.... let's see... i did a fuel injector system cleaning thing the other day.. so i cleaned out all the crap inside the internals.. that wouldn't have messed up my trans.. right?... AHHH.. taking it to a shop tomorrow.. MAYBE.. i'll do an entire swap and turn my auto into stick`~~.. =D.. haha.. depends on what kinda prices i can get..

Does it have an overdrive switch? That sounds like the problem. It stops it from going into 4th so you can go up hills easier and such. My truck had one at least (KA24E). I'd check the wireing for that.
