Just as the title says, on the drivers door control panel, all the buttons light up except "unlock". The lock symbol is lit, but unlock is not. Ever. Whether the headlights are on or off, whether the car is locked or unlocked.
It looks like the unlock symbol is translucent like the other symbols, but it doesn't light up. Is that normal? The car is a brand new 09, only 750 miles. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
Does your "unlock" button light up? Mine doesn't, but everything else does.

to me that is just plain stupid....I though I had a blown led of some sort until....

The could have lit it if the switch was designed differently. I was really tempted to dremel it out and add a light for it, but I doubted I could have repainted the lock to look as clean and backed up off it. I actually dremeled most of it out, so there is like 2 mms of plastic left lol
