It's sounding like a coil issue.

I kno cats dont cause a misfire..u asked what codes came up and i said the cats, and a misfire. I never said the cats caused it..but yeaaa..i was thinkin the valve is gettin stuckk and causing it to misfire as well. Im not too sure what cylinder is misfiring, the mechanic and I do business together i sell parts to his shop, i can kinda tell he didnt want to be bothered with it at the time..but im goin to look into it more. He told me it wasnt a lifter but im def thinking it is..thanks for the help anymore would be good too.goody94q45 wrote:Cats don't cause a misfire, bad coils do. Which cylinder was the misfire in? Did he give you the code #'s.
I'm thinking that a misfiring cylinder may cause valve or HLA rattle?
