well right now i have an auto 95 240sx and this is what im shooting for b4 i go to a built engine...

jgs mani : ~180t3 60 trim .63 a/r from turbocalculator.com : ~$420new side mount toyota intercooler: FREE!370cc 300zx injectors: ~$100apexi vafc 2 from friend: ~$200300zx maf: not sure on price, ~$100?brm aluminized 3 inch exhaust: ~$425 shippedwalbro fuel pump: ~$100random pipes, fittings, lines : ~$150manual swap, parts only: ~$600

i think this would work out good, i would just run 7 psi until i buy another motor and spend the $$$ to have it built at my friends shop in napa

does this look like a decent setup?

and if anyonw knows where i can get anything mentioned for cheaper, then plz do!

skip that exhaust and just get a muffler shop to weld you one for 150-200$ and just get a Z31 turbo if you're only gonna run 7 lbs. Im not sure about that VAFC, IIRC isnt that geared more towards controlling vtec than A/F ratios? Other than that, sounds good

VAFC do the same thing as SAFC except it can control vtec too. You can still tune a non vtec car with VAFC.

Noooooooooo...anything a muffler shop welds up for under 200 bucks IS going to suck. To have a high quality mandrel bent system put together with nice hangars tucked up out of the way etc. is going to cost you a lot more than 200 bucks. I know mine was around 550 just in labor, it took them somewhere around 10 hours or more to do and they said it was one of the harder jobs they'd done in a while. A quality exhaust is going to cost a lot, just deal with it :) I really like the brm system from the looks of it, just dont forget you'll still need a custom downpipe welded up.

jsut use your stock maf for now. with a t3 it should max out til at the very leat 10psi. my stock maf was maxing out at 9psi with a t04. i would jsut get sr 370 injectors since alot of people sell them cheap and the 300zx ones look kinda funny. i would also forget the manual swap part for now and invest in a wideband o2 sensor so you can actually tune for those 370's with the vafc. look around on ebay and the forums for a afc of somekind. i got safc for $200 shipped i think with a a glove box gauge pod for an eclipse which i still have to sell.

actually im going to be doing the manual swap first... and thats right after i finish my 5 lug conversion (in 2 days) and install my tein s techs with some agxs (in 2 weeks), then its manual conversion parts hunting time, and then finally after thats done and installed, my turbo setup..... which im hoping will be done by september.

but yes i was thinking of getting a wideband o2 sensor, but i wasnt sure what kind of wideband setup i can get for cheap...

So can anyone tell me 100% if the VAFC will work. Cause there is a guy locally who is selling one that I am planning on getting.

100% it will work?

You don't necessarily need a wideband. You can always have it tuned on a dyno with one. As long as the system you put together is reliable, then there should be little concern that the A/F ratio mappings will change.
