So, I go to the business where I got my motor to tell them what the compression was, and they tell me that a compression of 125 is normal for an SR20DET. From the countless pages of information I have gathered says differently. Somebody please tell me what the compression should be. My compression is 125,123,75, 128. Something is not right. Opinions?

one cylinder usuall means broken rings or ring lands or a valve. My bet is on broken ring land. Drop some oil in the low cylinder and see if it raised the compression.

Yeah, I did drop oil into that cylinder, and it did not change the compression. So, I'm not sure. Would a compression of 125 all the way across to low?

125 would be the lowest. 159 is the the most optimal. 155 all the way across is what I run. still can't be 15 apart though and definately not 50 apart. Good Luck

if it didnt change compression then it could very well be your ring lands or a valve. My guess is still on ring lands. you can pretty much eliminate head gasket since the ones next to it are fine and its not your rings either.
