I posted this before but, noone answered it..I hear alot about the n60 maf(blow threw I think) and 370cc injectors... On the ka24det.. I was thinkin bout using that setup because my goal for right now is only 5psi...I'm either going to do that r run a fmu with a high flow fuel pump...My question is which one would be better? and do u have to have some kind of tune with the n60 and 370cc injectors? for only 5 psi

You can't run a different MAF without some type of management, like a ROM tune or SAFC.

This myth about the N60 and 370's being able to work together is WRONG. I don't care how many guys say..."well my car ran"...it doesn't run well. The AFR's are jacked over the whole rpm band. This often causes serious harm to the motor. Usually because of the over rich condition that mixes fuel with the oil, which is NEVER a good thing.

go w/ a N62 maf so that you wouldnt have to upgrade later and its 3" which is a better size match w/coldpipe for blow through.

You dont need to run blow through for anything.

For 5 psi, just run a draw through stock maf, and a recirculated BOV and your good to go.

It all depends on what you are looking to gain in the future. If you want to recirculate, i dont care, they both do the same thing. with such a small amount of boost you can run the stock maf. i ran my stock maf w/ stock boost (7-8psi) on t-25 and made 247whp 241wtq using afcneo and i thought the tune was crap compared to when i got my e-mance tune.

Yes you would have to tune it no matter what either if it was n60 or n62, but my point is why not n62 now and save money later instead of buying a n60 and then buying a n62 later. If you want to have a good response on your car, then dont cheap out on the tune! But if you want 250whp or less then you can keep your stock maf.

It was a whiiile back. I actually got his buddies se hatch shell and a bunch of their mix-matched turbo parts, but I had to sell everything because I needed money for tuition and stuff..

Yeah, devalle and his buddy both had ka24de hatches, they both turbo'd their cars and blew their motors. iirc they both ran a t3/t4, ext. wastegate, fmic, atm. bov, no tuning whatsoever, 3" exhaust, fuel pump. that's it. They were going to run an fmu but for some reason didn't install it on either cars.

I actually rode in devalle's car once on 5psi and a slipping clutch and it was pretty nice heh

but yeah, basically no fuel management, stock clutch, atm. bov, and dist. timing were issues..
