It is at a Nissan dealership! They work you for so much money in labor its ridiculous. Goto another automotive performance shop in the area. Costs should be between 100-200 bucks for install.

For them it sounds right, they will charge an arm and a leg for labor bro. Nobody you know that could do it for you? Hope you can get them installed soon without getting bent with no lube man.

With a straight face, I'd ask them if it was $700 per wheel. They must think you just fell off the snap bean truck so you might as well act that way, then tell them that the next closest Nissan dealer quoted you $175 per wheel and that you're going with them cuz it sounds cheaper.

wow man, yea thats why I never take anything to the dealer. their labor rates are so rediculous. good luck with your springs. I'll be doing mine myself. but I have the luxury of having all the right tools and some extra hands if I need them.

I'd search for a reputable garage and get some second & third opinions on install pricings.

$700 bucks? That is outrageous. Just ask them how many labor hours they are quoting? My shop did it in 2 hours, and could have been faster. The guy who did the job took his time, and initially put one rear spring upside down, but fortunately I noticed it and asked him to put it correctly. My shop charges $90 an hour. Let's say in the Dealership the labor is more expensive, let's say they charge $200 per hour. That only add up to $400 bucks.

How did they come up with $700 is beyond my wisdom.

Don't feel bad man, this idiot around here quoted me an hour/hour and a half a strut to change the springs.. (4 1/2 hrs at 65 per) You just have to keep searching until you find a place that's not trying to raw dog you! Look around on the forum for anyone in your area and see if they know a good shop, that's what I did!

I got quoted at $320 at Pacific Tire in Milpitas, CA; even that seemed high for spring install. BepBoys was over $500. Unfortunately due to time and money, I'm going to have to wait until after my move this weekend. Anyone know a good shop in Victorville, Barstow, Plamdale, or Lancaster to install springs? I'll be in Victorville, but my Dad is in Palmdale.
