I made a WTB thread a while back for a MAF sensor but found one on eBay. I never updated the thread. Anyways, I got an e-mail a few days ago. It said:

Please let me know if you still need item as placed in your ad. Also
advise what else you might need. What's your phone#?

Kind Regards

That's all that was in the e-mail. I never said anything back since I bought one way before he sent this anyways. It just sounded a little fishy to me. What do you guys think?

Scott's a good guy. He offered to send me a cashier's check for more than the amount of my item. The president of Nigeria needs silvia headlights.

I thought it was a scam and never even emailed him back. I wasn't actually going to try to buy anything from him. I just wanted to know what you guys that about it. Just a boring Sunday afternoon trying to pass the time.

1) He reffered to your MAF as "item". Makes it easier to send the same email out to a bunch of sellers
2) He's out of the country. Why the hell would a dude in the UK contact someone from the US for a MAF? Theyre not that USDM tYtE y0
