Im in the market for some used wheels so i have been searching the usaul places within my reach to see what i can find.I found some wheels that look pretty cool but i emailed the guy and is doesnt know the offset.so i figured i would throw up a link and see if any of you wheel gurus recognize these particular wheels and possibly identify the offset.or maybe make a good guess so i can decide if i want to go look at them or not

looks like 17x7 +40... not good

look for nothing less than 8 inches wide, preferably 9, and no more than +20 offset

It looks more like 17 x ? +80. But either way, the offsets looks really high and won't fit right on a S chassis.

Say no to those or anything similar and wait until you find a good deal on decent wheels. You don't necessarily NEED new wheels :D

oh im fully aware that i dont NEED new wheels .i do need new tires though and i was thinking instead of buying all new tires for the stock rims i would shop around, throw in a few more bucks see if i could use opportunity of needing tires to change wheel size and look. Also wasnt saying i was going to run right out and buy the wheels on the link, just was wondering the offset,a few pairs of eyes are better than one.

As a rule of thumb, if it came off and accord/prelude, the offset is gonna be mega positive, and will look really sunk on a 240.

yea those rims are ugly even if they had a nice offset. and if you need tires, you own a 240 right? if you have any freinds that drift the chances are they can get used tires with a lot of life on them for cheap. i pay about 5 to 10 bucks a tire and they always have about 70% tread on them still.
