Does this light work on your V??

Besides the steering wheel buttons which I know don't light up but I notice the unlock button on driver's door doesn't light up but the lock part of the button does. Is everyone's like this or is my switch bad.

just making sure. I just found it weird that one swich has two functions and only one lights up. How hard could it have been to make both sides light up?

Someone dissassembled their door piece and found the reason why. They don't even put a place for a light at that particular part of the assembly. So noone's will light.

that was me, yea they put the plastic to have the switch move on the side that does not have the light, and it covers up the area that would have allowed the light to pass through.

If you enable lock when in the car, the unlock light will be on. If you don't lock the car when inside, the lock part is lighted. This lets you know if you are locked in or not. That's what I noticed with my car anyway.

Umm... not for the Camel... and someone (Jemdawg?) took apart the arm controls to discover that the unlock portion isn't transparent like the lock portion is.
