Gawker is so hip, it leaves out 90% of the actual journalism because it assumes its readers already know it all.

Anyhow, I don't quite get the point, other than it's an attempt to keep driving a wedge between people who, despite what the media tells you, are all playing nice in the sandbox (pun totally effing intended).

As such, I have no use for their brand of journalism (or "artificial uproar").

church leaders said they have received phone calls from concerned neighbors

How many? Two? Elbert and Abigail, 86 and 89, respectively, who have been married for 77 years and are both suffering from Alzheimer's? That constitutes an uproar?

Shame on KTVK and Gawker for sucking at life. If there was an "uproar", 2 miles from my office, I'd know. There isn't.

BTW, there's a domed church 8 miles from my house. It's also Christian.

And we have a mega-freaking-mosque about 15 mies from my house, that's replete with gold-plated domes and spires and sticks out like a neon sign and looks like some s*** straight outta Arabian Nights or whatever that stupid Disney movie is where Tariq played Prince Abooboo.

Fail.

p.s. Here's the ones I'm more concerned about:

The Christian Orthodox churches around here (Greek, Ukranian, etc) all have domes similiar to that around here.

Weird...our town is having same problem with a Mormon temple. Conspiracy?
Those are some goddamn tall trees they are going to drag in and plant to obscure that thing too.

Yep. And they're full of it, because VERY few trees in the Sonoran Desert reach anywhere NEAR that height.

Trust me though, their pockets are deeper than the Catholics' by far.

Won't be any crosses - just pointy steeples. No cross, no care. ;)
