Does the Rogue have an event data recorder (EDR)?
Specifically the 2009 Rogue? Anyone know, just curious.

All Rogues have an EDR regardless of year or trim level. Read pg 9-28 of your owners manual.

This is good! I heard that fed-mandated black boxes may come to vehicles. Apparently, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is set to complete a rule that would call for car manufacturers to install an event data recorder, or

every car has it. manufacturers want them to cover their behinds in case of "the car went out of control" complaints.

From what I've read Bosch makes the EDR units themselves and didn't have access to Nissan till mid 2012. They were not installed in Rogues until the 2013 model year going forward. Anyone have any further info?darylzero wrote:Specifically the 2009 Rogue? Anyone know, just curious.
