i have a sr t25 and it is a stock bottom mount turbo. I have a slight angle on my manifold. I am putting it on a sohc ka. I would say it is about 25 degrees from pointing straight down....will this be a problem?

thanks

P.S.three weeks till i boost if everything goes smoothly with the return line.

25 degrees isnt too severe... but you could just clock your turbo. pictures would help a lot.

Corky Bell's Maximum Boost says less than 30* from vertical is acceptable...

i cant clock the turbo because i am using the stock internal wastegate for now. I will get some pics next weekend since that is when i am going to have to take my exhaust off and fab up my down pipe. Thanks for the help though.

You can still clock your turbo if it's internally wastegated...So that should not be an issue. The internal wastegate diaphragm bracket attaches to ANY two bolts on the compressor housing, and those two bolts are not tightened until after the housing is clocked...

you will be just fine. my friend is using sr t25/ssauto manifold and his return line is pretty horizontal. His turbo is just fine, and he drifts the **** out of it on a regular basis.

Well since tha gravity is working on the return line, i'd say going straight down is the best. Or at least in the long run.
