On my friends I used bolts and nuts with lots of gasket maker... But you got to take it off, so ?I would just get it welded...

Do it once....do it right. Drop the pan. only take about 2hrs to pull it weld and put it back. with a floor jack and by yourself...

I got 3 different oil bungs. One that came with iap. and then 2 from oil line kits off the net. Order your feed and return kit at the same time, be anywhere from 80-90 usually

Can those braided lines be cut to size? I can only find them in 3' intervals and I only need ~20".

Nevermind, I searched a little more and found what I was looking for...

Thanks....

Yea you cut it..I used a hacksaw. Tape it when you cut because the ends poke out and will stab you lol....

The metal composition of the oil pan makes it really easy to weld even for a begginer. I used a 1/2" npt weld on fitting and a hex plug from summit for 5$ then all you need is a step drill bit and a weld machine (or a friend with one or i would trust the welding with any shop) Part#s STF-8807 + EDL-9129

I think its one less thing to worry about if you weld it, just make sure it is water tight before you install

I'm getting ready to install a new KA and i decided that it MAY become turbo in the future, my reason for doing this and then plugging it with the hex bolt. Preventive performance measure

If anyone is in the DC area, bring me the materials and i will do it for you for real

I'd weld it, to be safe and sturdy.
