Curious as to which models came with a limited slip differential...anyone know?

I believe they all did - M35/45 Sport or not. There's that idiot light on the dash too - "slip"

Lifting weight, so let me check the brochures for the M (I unpacked the brochure box the other day) in between sets.

Please do see if the brochure mentions it. I'm not sure if the VSC light is a guarantee of an LSD as it could be an open diff and the VSC could just as easily indicate slippage with either setup. It just seems like my rear end breaks out very easily...more so than I would expect for 325 hp to cause.

Open diffs for both unless you install the VLSD from a G37s/370z.

Open diff, as Mexillis said.

Thanks guys. I was thinking that it was way too easy to break traction and had a feeling I was working with an open diff. I didn't buy the M as a street racer, but it would be nice to be able to quickly accelerate...without slippage...in certain situations. I'll just have to remember that full throttle romps are gonna be lackluster at times.

I know where you're coming from. You can get a diff from a G37 or 370z, but you're not going to enjoy that gas mileage.

Appreciate the help Mexillis, that's what I was tracking but wanted to make sure. Tracking the brochure is not the correct place to go , but at the time a two second check thumbing through the back.

As far as
It just seems like my rear end breaks out very easily...more so than I would expect for 325 hp to cause.
I have really only had problems with the back end slipping when making a left turn from a stop with bad road conditions - sand, wet/damp and of course snow and ice. Never any issues at speed or when enjoying a winding road ie CA 74/Desert Palm Highway/Idylwild Palm Springs to San Juan Capistrano. I do have Tein coilovers on mine lower 1.5 in upfront and 1 inch in the back so might make some difference. I still run the stock Potenza for the M but swear by the Dunlop Sport Maxx on MNSTR 0.
If it's something that happens at speed or with optimal road conditions and your are not "getting on it" then I would start by looking at when and where it looses grip/driving habits, while also looking at tires and air pressure, check the fluid level in the LSD (I've never checked/changed mine out  ) and look for leaks.
From here you can look at tire/suspension alignment and while you are at it check the serviceability of the HICAS/rear active steer. All alignment issues that may cause the rear end to loose traction or not track in a straight line.

I don't think I have any mechanical issues per se, rather I am coming from an AWD supercharged Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 so I am adjusting to the fact that I can't get'n'go in the same manner I have used for the past few years. At speed on dry pavement there are no problems. I also have the Primacy Michelins that were designed for wear not for super sticky traction. My next set of tires will be a bit more on the grip side of the chart.
