Does the Leaf have a transmission?

I can't seem to find out whether there is a transmission of some sort in the Leaf. The Tesla has a 2 speed tranny but have not seen any evidence that the Leaf has one. Also, is there a 12V battery for the lights and other electronics or does the power come from the main Lithium battery?

The LEAF has a single speed reduction gear (as does the Tesla now). Put it in drive and go. And, yes, it does have a 12 volt battery for ancillary systems.
