Looking at getting the ks replaced on my q45t and was wondering if the harness comes with it (from somewhere like everythinginfiniti) @ the $120 price or is it extra?

It's extra, but not expensive, alot less than one Knock Sensor...and well worth it. I found both KS cracked, and a rodent completely chewed my harness in half...what was left was brittle and not worth using.

The harness is around $15 or so. I think Byron's bill was for $135 on the parts.

So to replace both KS and harness, I should be looking at ~ 120x2 + 15? = ~$260 parts?

Or does the knock sensor everything infiniti sells actually include both ks?

Thanks!

You forgot to add the shipping price. :-)

You'll need two knock sensors plus one harness, which is Y-Shaped with two connectors at one end (one for each harness) and one connector at the other end that feeds the main ECU harness near the right rear area of the plenum.

FYI, I frequently see good deals on knock sensors on eBay.

But there is a thread including some comments from Joe about what is up to OEM specifications and what may not be. Caveat Emptor!

I think mine were ~$135 x2 + $21 for the harness (free shipping at that time!)
