As far as I know, the AWD is only automatic.

Z is correct. G35x sedan only comes in 5 speed auto. G35 sedan and coupe both have the 6mt and 5 auto.

so infiniti is robbing us from the thrill of us owning an awd g35 in manual transmission huh? I don't find the reason in that but there must be one, I would love to own one of those, I don't see the fun in having an awd only in automatic though, but we can just only wait.

Yep, it would be fun to have awd 6mt g35. The new Skyline GTR will be awd and 6mt I believe, but most of us don't have that kind of money for one of those.

The reason is easy, man; think about it. The new R35 would be spoiled if you could get a G35x in a stick. You can however, put a R32 transmission in one if you willing to make custom drive shafts. I , for one, was going to built a G35 motor and transmission in my G35x. However, I came upon a DOT approved Motorex R32 which the DOT will let stand. Built up motor to 500+whp on pump gas. So much for the G35x project!

From what I have seen, so far, and I have somewhat more advanced info that most, I wouldn't trade my R32 for one, I tell you that. The R35 is going to weight close to 4000 pounds! That would mean a 625+whp car, you think the rating will be 760+hp? 'cause that what it would take to even compete with the slightly above average built R32![525whp on pump gas]Nissan is really screwing this thing up, all hype no deliver! 8 years between their "Badge" car, horrible!

I agree. If folks could get their hands on a G35X 6sp AWD. It would be a no brainer to stick some twins on it and have a 40k 4 door skyline.
