Does the Hatchback trunk lid fit all years of the hatch or is it year specific

I have just recently removed to stup[id foam spoiler form my hatch 240 because the foam retained water over the years and started to rust the deck lid... i live in san francisco so it rains alot and i am trying to replace it with one with no spoiler and i wondered if for example a hatchtrunk lid from a 93 240 if it would fit on my 89 240?

i dont actually have alot of rust but it would be cheaper to jus buy a new wun at pic n pull for like 30 bucks instead of cutting out the rust filling it and repainting it so i figure jus get a hwole deifferent trunk

Its not the water, its the fact that Nissan used non-galvanized fasteners for the wing.

Almost every s13 with a wing has hatch rust.
