Does the G Series Have a Future?

I was just looking at the Infiniti Newsletter I received today and noticed that their future models include the JX (a new crossover), the Etherea (a new five-door coupe), the Essence and the EV ( a new five-seat electric with zero emissions). Based on those new products, does any of the existing lines, including the G series get pushed out of the picture?

none of those vehicles would be in the same class as what the G is considered now. It would be hard to believe they would disband the line altogether. this question will be better answered i am sure, but i woudl suspect a major re-design of the vehicle. with the styling of the newer M-series cars looking more like Gs i really dont know. i hope they stay around.

Seeing as the G series (coupe and sedan together) combined for 46% of total annual sales in 2010, I doubt Infiniti would even entertain the idea of replacing their bread and butter.

Infiniti has been building its reputation with better and better cars. This is for sure comes true witrh the G. If they will keep it that way. They have nothing to worry about. Those are all concept cars. Just to show where the company is heading with their design.

Essence is one sexy beast. Would love one.
