does the FWD CA alternator translate over to the RWD?

They are both the same size engine and I didnt think the application was much different however I didnt know if they mounted in the same place?

The KA24E Alt is supposed to be pretty close.

yeah, the easiest thing to do by far is to go get it rebuilt. i tried a whole bunch of alternators when mine went out and none of them fit right. ca18de, ca18et, ka24e, ka24de. none seemed to line up just right.
