Does the ECU Have Map for Cold Start?

I assume that the ECU runs the motor rich until the temp sensor tells it to do other wise. Or am I wrong? I want to remove the air regulator and I assume that if this map exists, I can flash to get rid of it. Or am I barking up the wrong tree backwards?

i think it runs rich for 180 seconds from startup.

It will richen the mixture based on the coolant temperature.

Good stuff. I just need to friggin figure out why in the hell my car runs so bad at cold start...Already replaced temp sensor. Still at a friggin loss at where to go from here tho....

my cold start sucks to i want to bypass the air regulator with a hose but that would cause all sorts of issues. does the KA have a regulator on it?

KA one works great.. that is what have on my car

O BLING. After class when I go get my hoses to recurric my BOV I need to get one of those from O'reilly. Got a part number by chance?

you have to modify little but it works perfect.. I think it is off of sohc KA one ..

Finally an answer to my problems. I have a ca with cold start probs like everyone else, and i have my old SOHC which had no problems. have searched post, would really like to know what u did to get it to work. Gonna try this weekend.
