Does The DVD Play On All 3 Screens

Hi All

Long time reader first time poster I have a 13 Armada with the RSE is it possible to have the DVD playing on all 3 screens Front and Rear at the same time

Got the rear 2 to work together with a DVD in one of the rear monitors and I can get the audio working via the car speakers but I can only get video on the front screen (when stationary) with a DVD in the front but cannot get the video to go to the rear

I am guess this is just the way it is but thought I would ask

That would be the wonderful mod I have posted in the "Sticky" thread. You can override everything so that you can watch movies on the front Nav screen while the vehicle is in motion, pretty easy mod, takes an hour or two.

Thanks Timmbo but that is how to do video in motion what I want is to make the same DVD play on all 3 screens or am I missing something

timmbo is confused as to what you are asking.

that mod is not the same for playing on all three screens.

i have a 12 QX and the same thing can be played on all three screens. perhaps the nissan armada is not setup that way and you may need to do 3rd party modifications.

The 13 Armada is the same as the 12 QX how do you make it work does each screen in the back have its own player also?

if the armada is the same as the q, you will use the remote control.

select the A or B display, and then select the input. is in the Qs operators manual so if its the same , the instructions are in the armada.

in the Q , each of the 3 screens can have independent inputs. on the Q, if I wanted to show he same file on all 3 screens, i select from the FRONT touch screen using the infiniti controller (rotary button) to turn on the back displays. they will play whatever im playing in front.

On the displays in the back I can only select input A or B nothing else and in the front I cannot find any setting for all 3 screens

on the Q, there is a setting that allows the front passengers to turn on the displays in the back (via the touchscreen up front), and this allows the dvd player in front to play on all 3 screens.

the remote in back has options for a,b, aux l/r, usb...

do you have the above remote? if so, then all the rear passengers need to do is select their respective display (l/r) and then once selected, push the button corresponding to the input they want to see.

I have been trying for weeks to make this work. The Armada must be wired different or there is a special button somewhere I can't find. My remote looks different than above. All I get is a blue screen in when the e brake is on and is in park. Sound works great though. Seems like I am missing two wires. Video+ and Video-

Could this be related to the comfort settings not being there avail (could be completely different). I still need to have the NBT done....

i dont think the armada is designed like the new qx's. you may have to do some aftermarket modding to make this work which may be too much to do....

So did anybody ever figure this out for the Armada? I just purchase 2014 Aramada Platinum with Reserve package today, and realized when i got home that the rear dvd players are not linked to the front dvd player. It looks like only the audio out on the rear dvd units is going into the audio aux input on the main unit up front. I would love to figure this out!
