I had my Q in the shop today for a problem with stalling and stumbling, and the shop recommended I replace the 'idle speed control actuator'??? I can't find where this is a part available for the Q, anyone want to weigh in on this?

Yes, there is an IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). Refer to the link below, starting on page EC-321 for description, wiring diagram, component location, diagnostic, etc.

Yeah I am suspecting that is what they were actually referring to and just using the wrong name, thanks for the confirmation

If cleaning the IAC valve doesn't work, I would look toward the coil packs... seems to be the "big ticket" failure of the Y33 series. Do you have a "check engine" light on or any codes?
