Heh. Who uses turn signals anyway?BAMFv6 wrote:Good to know, that interesting...it means we are the SHIIT!!!!!!!!!
And here I thought they were just for looks, I guess they would come handy in that situation.SHIFT_COUPE wrote:The side mirror blinkers are actually quite useful in situations where people on the road are seeing your car from the side where they might not necessarily notice your blinkers from the front or back. I had a situation the other day where I had to go past someone on my left and make a left hand turn just past where they were pulling out, in my previous cars people would begin pulling out thinking I was going past them.
How much work would be involved to install 3.5 mirrors on a 2.5?It sounds like a lot of work. When I get my 2.5, I might consider it, if its not too expensive and nissan will do the install.phakfear wrote:The only problem with the altima side blinkers is that you can't see it from behind like other cars. They do look more classy than some other cars thou, so I guess it evens out.
DC supposedly you can just order the side mirrors and paint it and install it on your 2.5.
Why would you need them? Sure, they can be better-looking aesthetically, but in my opinion, its just a waste to add them onto a 2.5. If you're a good driver, you shouldn't need them. Just my 2 cents.mikemart wrote:

Here is link to people talking about it for the sedan, but should be same.mikemart wrote:

And warranty ramifications? If something happened to your sideviews, you're on your own, right?SHIFT_COUPE wrote:^^ My thoughts exactly. I'd be a bit weary about taking my NEW car apart soon after I got it. It probably wouldn't be too bad of a job but still.
