Does spilling a little water on the front seats hut the sensor?

I know there is a sensor in the seats for the airbag and I wanted to know if that hurts the sensor. As the water dried up pretty quickly as the car was warm on the inside.

Shouldn't be a problem unless we are talking gallon or more.

Are we talking a few drops or a jug?

I wouldn't worry about it. My cat peed on my passenger seat (yeah I know) and I dumped a lot of febreeze on it - repeatedly- to get rid of the smell and did no damage to the sensor. In case you are interested, it took about 4 months for the smell to go away. I'll see if it returns once the hot weather returns.

Oh maybe an ounce or two but I didn't know how sensitive they were.

Unless it soaks through the seat, I doubt it.
