It will cut down on the noise but will add a formidable amount of weight.

It will definitely make a good difference for you, the main spots are on inside parts of the door skins and around the rear tire area. Also spare tire area will help. How much did you get it for?

Yup...that stuff works well....do the trunk area as a definite...that will quiet the exhaust and keep the cabin from resonating that sound

a buddy of mine bought something called Peel n Seal to see if it was a decent alternative to dynamat and sound deadner things and it actually may be better then the fat mat i bought, he put down 2 layers in his Z and the car is insanely quite inside. he did both his door panels some of his floor and a little bit of the trunk.

Peel n seal works very nicely, except in hot weather climates. It like to pretty much melt off in high temps, has a friend try it here in Phx a while back. It worked great until the summer hit 110 and above, the it started to pretty much melt off and created a huge mess. It also gave off an obnoxious odor during this time. He replaced it with dynamat in the trunk and actual carpet type in the rest of his car.

You will notice the difference in a big way especially at highway speeds. I used 72 sq ft of Stinger Roadkill and man it is nice, just added a good 50 pounds though. Be sure to get the spare tire area as well as the doors as others have said, but the one place I noticed the biggest difference is putting it over the rear tail lights and also inside all the plastic coverings in the trunk, this will prevent almost all sound vibrations.

i cut down on the road noise in the rear and the exhaust by using 75 sq ft on just the truck it sounds great now ive got terrible road noise from the front tires, think i could hush it by matting the floor?

I did my doors and that made the biggest difference with tire noise, just make sure to get it on there well. I plan on doing the floors as well but I need new floor carpet as it is, so ill do it when I get new floor carpet. Let me know if the floor makes a difference.
