The drving effect? Ummmm...

Lets start off with the offsets. 17x9+35 is going to hit coilovers and be sunken as hell. Run this setup with 20mm spacers and a 235/40/17. Tons of people run 17x9+20 w/ a 235/40/17 all the way around..

The driving effect... Wider front tires will change the characteristics of your car. First off, theyre going to track like hell over grooves and imperfections in the road. They will pull you from side to side unless the road is completely flat and perfect. Who cares though?

With good tires your car is also going to handle much better (DUH!). Since you arent staggering, the car should remain pretty neutral in terms of over/understeer.

what do you think of 225/40/17 in the front and 235/40/17? i think 235 is too big for the front. so your saying that with wide rims in the front its gonna grip like crazy?

Dont stagger tires on the same size rims, thats pointless.

235's will fit on the front of an an s13 with 17x9+20's. Roll your fenders. But if you really wanna run 225's, do it in the rear too.

And you can buy 225/55/15's on your stock wheels that will 'grip like crazy'. Tire compound is way more important than width.

+35 sucks. It will rub coilovers. Just say no.
